On September 28, 2022 Lee County was absolutely devastated by Hurricane Ian. Unfortunately, we took a direct hit from the Category 4 and many businesses were severely damaged or a total loss.


LARC’s main campus located at 2570 Hanson Street in Fort Myers sustained a multitude of damage and one LARC residential group home was impacted by storm surge, displacing our residents.


We are extremely devastated by this tragedy, and are rebuilding as we continue to serve individuals with disabilities in our community.
